Zoya Akhtar

Four films, three short stories, one web series, six Filmfare awards, an Emmy nomination and India’s official entry to the Oscars outlines Zoya Akhtar’s unique ability to tell stories that break the conventional norms, creating waves globally.
After her directorial debut with Luck By Chance (2009), Zoya’s released hybrid genres like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011), Dil Dhadakne Do (2015), internationally acclaimed Gully Boy (2019) have since acquired cult status along with numerous global awards and accolades. The acclaimed series Made in Heaven (2019) for Amazon Prime and the international Emmy-nominated Lust Stories (2018) for Netflix have further extended Zoya’s reach as a storyteller internationally.

Through her latest venture, Tiger Baby, Zoya has turned producer – with a lot more exciting projects in the works, most notably, her next directorial titled ‘The Archies’, the official adaptation of the globally revered Archie comics.

Reema Kagti

Reema Kagti is considered one of the best working talents in Indian cinema, with a singular voice as an artist, screenwriter, and filmmaker.

Reema’s directorial debut, Honeymoon Travels Private Limited (2006), was an immediate commercial success post she wrote & directed the neo-noir Talaash (2012), and the historic sports drama Gold (2018), both of which were highly acclaimed by audiences and critics alike. In addition to directing, Reema has co-written the screenplays for genre-bending belters and box office successes, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011), Dil Dhadakne Do (2015), Gully Boy (2019) along with the highly acclaimed digital series, Made in Heaven (2019), for Amazon Prime Video.
With her latest venture, Tiger Baby, Reema has extended her role to that of Producer – with a lot more exciting projects in the works. Reema’s upcoming directorial ‘Dahaad’ recently released on Amazon Prime after making global waves at the Berlin International Film Festival of 2023.

Arjun Varain Singh

Arjun Varain Singh graduated from Columbia College, Hollywood in 2013 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, in film directing and writing. He assisted Abinay Deo and later Zoya Akhtar on Gully Boy and Ghost Stories.

Shortly after his experience on Gully Boy, Arjun filmed Kaam 25, a promotional music video for ‘Sacred Games’ featuring the rapper DIVINE. He quickly followed this up by conceptualizing and executing the Gully Boy – VOICE OF THE STREETS promotional video campaign. Arjun also directed the music video for Gandhi Money from Divine’s popular album – Kohinoor.

Arjun is currently all set to direct his first feature film, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, starring Ananya Panday, Adarsh Gourav, and Siddhant Chaturvedi, produced by Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby.

Rahul Nair

Rahul Nair graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2014, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Television Production. Returning to Mumbai, he assisted on ‘Ki & Ka’ (2016), before working on a series of projects with Excel Entertainment, including ‘Rock On 2’ (2016) and season one of Inside Edge (2017).

Between 2017 and 2019, Rahul was an associate producer on season one of ‘Made in Heaven’ (2019), an Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby co-production for Amazon Prime Video. He is a part of the writers room for season two, as well as an additional writer for the upcoming film ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’

Rahul created, wrote, and directed ‘Eternally Confused and Eager for Love’, a comedy series for Netflix, produced by Tiger Baby and Excel Entertainment.
